we will be coming up to 9 months in a couple weeks… time is flying, as it does with two little ones in the house. little rozi bear is standing and cruising already, has 3 teeth (and working on her fourth), loves her big sister to bits, and has the cutest squeaky voice in all the land. and so much more. love having this little girl in our family!

….. wasn’t christmas just yesterday? time’s a’flying, as usual. this lady down here, holding sweet Rosalind, is going to be holding her very own son any day now. seasons change, babies get bigger, life gets brighter.

I’ve been AWOL for a couple of reasons… We moved to a new apartment at the beginning of June, I then went to Nashville for 2 1/2 weeks… and my camera is in need of repair (or upgrade). But I found some pictures from May that I hadn’t posted so here they are.

We went to our local Lake Michigan beach in May, before all the crowds. Foster Avenue beach has a beautiful park area over looking the lake–perfect for an ice cream cone and bare feet on a breezy day.

In other news… my belly continues to grow as I get closer and closer to my due date.. only a couple months to go now! I will be looking forward to the end of summer, as the weather cools off and I can start nesting in preparation for the newest little member of our family. We are all so excited and grateful for a new baby in our lives.

Last weekend, we ate at Jeri’s Grill in our Lincoln Square neighborhood. I was craving an old-schoool diner style chopped steak for some reason. So we headed out about 10:00 on Friday night and all our diner dreams came true. This place is a legit diner, complete with a homeless person chilling in the corner, but the food was tasty and cheap, and the tunes on the juke box were jivin’ or something. Noah has a steak dinner AND a double cheeseburger, and ate every last bite. We finished off our meal by sharing a delicious home-made peach cobbler. I will definitely come here again.
